Fiorentina’s Game, Florence, Italy | Social & Fun | Em.Pi.Ju.

GENERAL INFORMATION
A.C.F. Fiorentina, commonly referred to as simply Fiorentina, is a professional Italian soccer club from Florence, Tuscany. Founded by a merger in 1926, Fiorentina is one of the most significant teams of Serie A, Italy’s most important soccer league (the Italian premiership). Fiorentina has won two Italian Championships, in 1955–56 and again in 1968–69, as well as six Coppa Italia trophies and one Supercoppa Italiana. On the European stage, Fiorentina won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1960–61 and lost the final one year later. They finished runners-up in the 1956–57 European Cup, losing against Real Madrid, and also came close to winning the 1989–90 UEFA Cup, finishing as runners-up against Juventus after losing the first leg in Turin and drawing in the second one in Avellino.
Watching a game with me could be a great opportunity for listening to a lot of anecdotes, stories, and personal views about Fiorentina and soccer in general in Italy.

WHO I AM

My passion for Fiorentina began in the 1970s when, accompanied by my father, I attended a soccer game for the first time. I immediately adored soccer, and I fell in love with Fiorentina and its purple uniform. Fiorentina is the team of my city, and despite it isn’t now one of the strongest teams, I will always support it. Consider that I have had a subscription to Fiorentina’s games for 40 years, and believe me, in order not to attend a match at the stadium I really need to be close to dying!
